Paul joined our team in December 2021 as a Senior Solicitor, having beforehand been a Senior Associate at a large personal injury practice.
Paul has over 19 years’ experience acting exclusively for personal injury claimants and has been a senior litigator accredited member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
Paul has dealt with a whole spectrum of personal injury cases over time including those involving road traffic accident accidents, accidents at work and also public liability and product liability claims. He has dealt with cases involving compensation and damages across a large range of value, from the more modest to the catastrophic. He has particular experience in dealing with chronic pain cases and those involving serious orthopaedic injury. Paul understands the importance of rehabilitation and treatment following serious injuries in order to achieve best results and best possible outcomes for his clients.
Paul conducted the precedent-making case of Egan v Central Manchester and Manchester Children’s University Hospitals NHS Trust [2008] EWCA Civ 1424, a successful case in the Court of Appeal involving the interpretation of Regulation 4(1)(b)(ii) of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992.
